Rio BJJ Camp

“The Rio BJJ Camp” has been set up to ensure that your BJJ experience in Brazil is enjoyable as well as informative.

Our mission is: “To transmit the culture and the technique of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the highest standard of comfort, safety and fun.”

Your  stay  will be up to 15 days and be guided by a local Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black belt.

It includes:

• Accommodation in a penthouse at the suburb of Barra da Tijuca

• Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School twice a day
• One group private class once a week
• Bicycles to ride
• State of the art Gym ( optional extra)

Your guide: Professor Master Rafael Lang

Rafael Lang (2008 Pan American Champion) is considered one of the most talented guys from the new generation in Brazil.

Rafael has extensive experience and   has sparred many world wide famous MMA AND BJJ fighters from Brazil.

He is a sought after instructor and trainer and  has been contracted by a Brazilian University, airline companies and the Australian armed forces to Share his knowledge.

Accommodation details:

The accommodation at ” The Camp”  is a duplex penthouse with 4 bedrooms, including two bathrooms.
The penthouse has a  small swimming pool,a  sauna, and a fantastic BBQ patio area overlooking the famous Pedra da Gavea Mountain.
A house cleaner attends 3 times per week( included  in the package) and free bicycles are also provided for your leisure and fun.
The penthouse is located at Barra da Tajuca ( one of the greatest and safest areas of Rio de Janeiro.) It is only two blocks away from the beach and around 2km from the BJJ training dojo. It is also very handy with restaurants, night clubs, shopping centres, banks and the beach right close to you.

Training

You will train in one of the largest BJJ dojos in  Rio de Janeiro.

It is in a purpose built building, with massive changing rooms and there is a natural food court available.

Instruction will be  from Brazilian Black Belt Champions recognized by the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation and Rio de Janeiro Federation FJJD- RIO.

Gym

Academia da Praia gym is about 800 metres from our accommodation. It has state of the art equipment and facilities. It is a very famous gym, and is considered by many as one of the best gyms in Rio.  Lots of beautiful and famous people go there!   You can do weights, dance, yoga, swimming, spinning, and sauna or just have a juice and enjoy the view.
